Rolling is not required on this server. You can choose to use it when you want, but the other player must agree to use it. Otherwise, roleplay like normal people. Don't use /roll, just use attempts and hope that the player you are roleplaying with is fair and has logic.

MOST OF THESE WILL RESULT IN: WARNING -> KICK -> BAN

1. Our Golden Rule - Have fun. You don't have to take everything super serious! At EMRP, serious roleplay doesn't mean your attitude has to be in the "big super serious douche" zone. You will not be respected by admins like that here. We are, however, still serious though! So don't minge around!

2. Abusing any privilege such as tool gun or prop spawning access will result in a ban of the privilege and just a ban. Depending on the infraction, the ban could stretch from one day to forever.

3. Racism is allowed only in IC (in-character chat). If you use racism in OOC(out-of-character chat), you will be warned. Next you will be kicked. Last is a day ban. The maximum is a week.

4. There are no godlike characters in this community. I know it is a restriction to your customization of your character, but it's to prevent every player from being a fearless 7 Hour War veteran. All characters must have at least a SMALL AMOUNT of fear. Not even an owner may create a character without it. The only time "godlike" characters will be created are for events. Read the Fear RP Guide to learn more about how this should work.

5. Not EVERY attempt requires a /roll here. Sometimes, maybe you and the "opponent" can just be nice and let one win and not even have to /roll! Other times, you will just have to /roll. Read the /Roll Guide to learn about when to use it and when not to use it.

6. No disconnecting to avoid roleplay. This will always result in at least a one hour ban.

7. No running to avoid roleplay. /Me it out first. Read the /Me Guide to learn more about this. IT IS NOT A BEGINNERS GUIDE.

8. You are here to roleplay. If you do not want to roleplay, leave.

9a. Try your best to use the best proper grammar you can. It makes it easier for everyone.
9b. Do not use smilies and emotes to show expressions. For example, do not do a "" or "" in a /me or chat. Just try to explain the face you make.

10. You don't ALWAYS have to win every roleplay fight you get into. Sometimes, the other person has to win. Just except that. It makes roleplay a lot more fun.

You can get Expo Points for some things that aren't in EP sections. Here are some.

• Posting often on the forums.
• Being active on the server.
• Showing good roleplay on the server.
• Inviting Friends

The only way inviting a friend can get you EP is if you notify an owner. For it to be valid, the invitee must become registered on the forums and make at least four posts. They must also be active on the server. This can get you more than 1 EP, mainly if this person signs up for a faction or posts about a group in the Roleplay Discusion/Groups section.

EXPO POINTS

Expo Points, or EP, are used to get things like tokens or privileges. Anything you get with EP is permanent, so you don't have to worry about wasting them. The only way to receive EP is to post in the EP sections of the forums. A board will have an "EP" icon on the left side if it is an EP section. It will also tell you that "you can receive EP" for posting in the section. There are many places to get these points, but DO NOT make desperate attempts at getting the points, such as spamming introductions. Once you receive an EP for something, it is marked down what you got it for, so don't try anything like that, it will result in a subtraction of EP.

The best way to get EP is to be active on the forums and post often. The other best way is to do good things on the server and show good roleplaying skills as you can be easily rewarded EP for doing so.
